The courts ruled in our favour in May 2005 and again in June 2006 when the administrative court cancelled the operating permit for Goro-Nickel's plant. The plant's construction continues in all illegality!

In the area of the mine there are taboo places, paths, skulls, shells and conches. It's where the ancestors live. There is no language to remove these taboos. We can never agree the project in these areas. If Goro-Nickel goes ahead, they take responsibility for their actions, we say no.
